Melissa isn't your average nail artist; she’s a lifelong maker with a serious passion for detail. With a BFA from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (where she earned a talent-based scholarship every single year!), she brings a true fine-arts perspective to every manicure.

A Journey of Craftsmanship

Before diving into the world of nails five years ago, Melissa’s career was a whirlwind of high-end artistry:

• Master Goldsmith: She earned her Bench Jeweler Certificate and spent two years apprenticing in Hawaii. She’s helped countless couples design their dream engagement rings!

• Graphic Designer: Her eye for layout has graced everything from magazines and merchandise to billboards and the Chicago Tribune.

• Business Owner & Mentor: For the last decade, she’s owned The Cracked Glass in Dyer, where she creates custom stained glass and loves sharing the joy of art through teaching.
